The short version

This site (kinselo.com) doesn't use cookies, doesn't run analytics, and doesn't track you across pages. Personal data it collects includes what you type into the contact form, email addresses entered for the newsletter, and the name and email address provided at checkout when purchasing Kinselo. The Kinselo app itself, once purchased, runs entirely in your own browser and never sends your pet's data anywhere.

Who this policy covers

This policy covers kinselo.com and its blog. It doesn't cover Amazon, Stripe, Brevo, or other third-party services this site uses; each has its own privacy policy.

What we collect

This site collects personal data in three situations:

• Contact form. If you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you enter, so we can reply to you.
• Newsletter. If you subscribe to receive a discount code or product updates, we collect your email address. This is handled by Brevo (our email platform). You can unsubscribe at any time.
• Purchase. If you buy Kinselo, your name and email address are collected at checkout by Stripe (our payment processor) to process the payment and send you your access code. We receive your email address to deliver your purchase. Stripe handles payment details directly and we never see your card information.

Nothing is required to browse the site, read the blog, or try the app demo.

What we don't collect

• No account, sign-up, or email is required to use the Kinselo app itself.
• No cookies are set for advertising, analytics, or tracking purposes.
• No behavioral or usage data is collected while you browse this site.

How the contact form is processed

Contact form submissions are handled by Netlify (our hosting provider) and delivered to us by email. Netlify processes this data on our behalf as part of standard form-handling infrastructure; it isn't shared with anyone else or used for any purpose beyond replying to your message. Submissions are kept only as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterward, then deleted.

Affiliate links

Some blog posts contain affiliate links (currently to Amazon). If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Clicking these links takes you to a third-party site, which sets its own cookies and applies its own privacy policy; we don't receive any personal data from that transaction.

The Kinselo app

The Kinselo app is a separate product from this website. It runs entirely in your browser, stores your pet's data locally on your device only, and never transmits it to a server. Everything you log inside the app stays on your device. Your email address, collected at checkout, is only used to deliver your access code and, if you subscribe, to notify you of updates. Your rights

If you've contacted us through the site, you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, at any time, by emailing contact@kinselo.com. We'll respond as quickly as we reasonably can.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, meaning what we collect or how we handle it, we'll update this page and revise the date at the top.
